The anniversary of Liliana's first open heart surgery is right around the corner so I have been thinking a lot lately about her heart and everything that we went through. I know many of you followed my blog religiously when we were at the hospital and gave much great support via the internet. Since not everyone probably remembers...Lily was diagnosed with a Complete AV Canal Defect. I have attached two links for those who would like to go find out more about the defect that Lily and many other Ds children have or have had fixed. I also included a link about our surgeon Dr. Mavroudis for those that may be considering the Cleveland Clinic for surgery for their child in the future.
