Santa Baby

Well, today was a busy day for Mommy. I woke up and spent the morning getting goodie trays and such ready for friends and family. I also made up a big box of goodies for the PICU docs, nurses, and anyone else that works here. They all have been so loving, caring, and just all around wonderful to our little Liliana. We really appreciate everything they have done for her. Today they were able to identify exactly what bacteria Liliana has in her bloodstream. It is called pseudomona, which after reading up on it online I found out that it is a bacteria that is mainly found in hospitals and it attacks people that are very ill and whose immune systems are suspressed. Makes sense to me since she has been in here for 7 weeks now. They will continue to treat her with the proper antibiotics and keep her fever under control. I brought in a little Santa hat and boots for Liliana today. After getting a bath which turned into a 3 nurse ordeal which I called the spa treatment we put them on her. So cute!

She looks so precious! I'm glad they found out what was causing the infection. May God grant her quick healing!!
